Wenbao Township, belonging to Lund County, Guyuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, is located in the southwestern part of Lund County, of which the eastern part is bordered by Shanhe Township to the east, Dian'an Township to the south, Gucheng Township of Jingning County in Gansu Province to the west, and Fengling Township to the north, with an administrative area of 91.97 square kilometers. Wenbao Township jurisdiction originally belonged to Jingning County and Zhuanglang County in Gansu Province. in October 2003, the two townships merged into Wenbao Township.
