Park Overview
The Suyin Industrial Park is a major initiative undertaken by the Party committees and governments of Jiangsu and Ningxia provinces, as well as the municipal Party committees and governments of Suzhou and Yinchuan, to implement Xi Jinping’s development philosophy for the new era, particularly the concept of coordinated regional development.
The Suzhou-Yinchuan Industrial Park was inaugurated on November 18, 2018, and was approved as an autonomous regional-level high-tech industrial development zone on January 30, 2019. It is being developed in phases under a unified plan based on the principles of “East-West cooperation, government leadership, and market-oriented operation.” The park has a total planned area of approximately 53 square kilometers, comprising three major zones: Jingcheng, Hengcheng, and Hengshan, with the Jingcheng Zone designated as the priority development area for the first phase.
