Liancai Town, belonging to Lund County, Guyuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, is located in the western part of Lund County, neighboring Shenlin Township in the east, Gucheng Township, Jingning County, Gansu Province in the south, Bali Township, Jingning County, Gansu Province in the west, and Zhangcheng Township, Xinglong Township of Xi'ji County in the north, with an area of 45.89 square kilometers in administrative area. As of the end of 2020, the household population of Liancai Town was 10,197.
In the early years of the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Lirenli, and in February 1984, it was reorganized as Liancai Township, and in June 1997, Liancai Township was abolished and established as a township. As of October 2021, Liancai Township has 6 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Liancai Village.
