Chen Jin Township, belonging to Lund County, Guyuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, is located in the eastern part of Lund County, neighboring Liupanshan Township and Perfume Township of Jingyuan County across Liupanshan Mountain in the east, bordering Shanhe Township and Fengling Township in the south, neighboring Shatang Township in the west, and connecting with Chengguan Township in the north, with an area of 46.56 square kilometers of administrative area. As of the end of 2020, the household population of Chenjin Township was 4,301. In May 1958, Qingliang and Hehuai Townships were merged to establish Chenjin Township; in October of the same year, it was divided into 2 communes, Wuxing and Gaofeng (renamed Chengguan in 1959); in 1984, it was reorganized into Chenjin Township. As of October 2021, Chen Jin Township has 7 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township government is located in Chen Jin Village.
