Bayanzaraga Township, belonging to Zalaid Banner of Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northeastern part of Zalaid Banner, bordering with Longjiang County of Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province in the east, Yindel Town in the south, across the river, bordering with Bardahu Town in the west, and neighboring Xinlin Town in the north. Bayanzaraga Township has an area of 358 square kilometers, and as of the end of 2018, there were 19,792 household residents.
In the thirty-seventh year of the Republic of China (1948), the area of Bayanzaraga Township belonged to Cholle Nutuk; in 1958, Bayanzaraga Commune was set up; in 1984, it was changed to Bayanzaraga Township; in 2005, it was assigned to Albengrad Township; in 2011, it was set up Bayanzaraga Township from Albengrad Township. As of June 2020, Bayanzaraga Township has 1 neighborhood committee and 11 village committees under its jurisdiction.
