Camel Hill Township, belonging to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Xilin Gol League Taibushi Banner, is located in the eastern part of Taibushi Banner, neighboring Heichengzi Ranch of Zhenlan Banner in the east, bordering with the town of Qianjiagou in the south, connecting with the town of Baochang in the west, adjoining with Zhenlan Banner in the north, 45 km away from the government of Taibushi Banner, with the region covering a total area of 561.13 square kilometers.
In May 1958, the Luomo Mountain Commune was established; in December 2005, Luomo Mountain Township and the former Zhonghe Township merged to form Luomo Mountain Town. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Camel Hill Township was 22,570. As of June 2020, 19 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of Camel Hill Township, with the township's people's government residing in Camel Hill Village.
Grain crops in Camel Hill Town are mainly wheat, oat, and potatoes; the main cash crops are oil crops and vegetables; and animal husbandry is based on raising beef cattle and dairy cows.
