Udun Tuhai Town, belonging to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Chifeng Wengnute Banner, is located in the southeastern part of Wengnute Banner, neighboring Aohan Banner in the east, bordering Haradaokou Town in the south, neighboring Wutonghua Town in the west, and bordering with Ashaghan Sumu in the north. The administrative area of Udun Tuhai Town is 543.73 square kilometers.At the end of 2018, the household population of Udun Tuhai Town was 34,447. At the beginning of liberation, it was the fifth district of Weng Oo United flag. 1956, it was Weng Niu Te flag, and built Udun Tuohai township. 1958, it was transferred to Chifeng city, and built Hongshan district. 1964, it was transferred back to Weng Niu Te flag, and the Hongshan district was changed to a commune; July, it was changed to Hongshan town. 1968, it was incorporated into the Hongshan commune. 1978, it was transferred from the Hongshan commune, and resumed the Hongshan township. 1984, it was named Udun Tuohai township with the name of the original site. In 2006, yutangao township merged into wudun taihai town. 2020 June, wudun taihai town jurisdiction of 18 administrative villages. The town people's government resides in the new town. In 2018, there are 20 industrial enterprises in Wudun Tuhai Town, and there are 87 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
