Hongshanzi Township, subordinate to Keshketeng Banner of Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Keshketeng Banner, bordering Zhirui Township in the east and southeast, neighboring Zhenglan Banner of Xilin Gol League in the south and southwest, and connecting with Jinghang Township in the west and north. The administrative area of Hongshanzi Township is 1,357 square kilometers.At the end of 2018, Hongshanzi Township had a household population of 9,313. In January 1946, the Saling River District (seven districts) was built.In October 1958, the Hongshanzi Commune was established.In January 1984, it was changed to a township.In June 2020, Hongshanzi Township governed six administrative villages. The people's government of the township is located in Daholaitu Village. In 2018, Hongshanzi Township has 33 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
