Chaganhada Sumu, belonging to Bahrain Left Banner of Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southwestern part of Bahrain Left Banner, bordering with Longchang Town in the east, bordering with Bahrain Right Banner in the southeast, south, and west, bordering with Harahada Town in the northwest, and connecting with Lindong Town in the north. The administrative area of Chaganhada Sumu is 370.59 square kilometers.At the end of 2018, the household population of Chaganhada Sumu was 7,585.
At the beginning of liberation, it belonged to the eighth district (Chaganhada Nutuk).In 1956, the district was withdrawn and set up as 3 gacha (township level) of Wang'anchi, Azhi Baolige and Gaole Aile.In 1958, the 3 gacha were merged into the Chaganhada Commune.In 1984, it was changed into Chaganhada Sumu.In 2005, the township of Wild Boar Gully was merged into it.In 2006, the stone house gacha was transferred from the township of Lindong. As of June 2020, Chaganhadasumu jurisdiction 8 gacha. The people's government is stationed in Ulanggele Gacha.
