Jewel Town, belonging to Tuchuan County, Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northwestern part of Tuchuan County, neighboring Liudu Township in the east, Xuedian Township in the south, connecting with the middle banner of the right wing of Horqin in the west, and adjoining with the front banner of the right wing of Horqin in the north. The area of Jewel Township is 990.78 square kilometers, and as of the end of 2018, the household population had 23,586 people.
In the thirty-fifth year of the Republic of China (1946), Gem District was established; in 1953, it was renamed Eleventh District; in 1958, it was changed to Gem Commune; in 1983, it was changed to Gem Township; in 1999, it was changed to Gem Town.
