Hainan District, (HainanDistrict), is one of the municipal districts of Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, located in the western part of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the southeastern part of Wuhai City. East by Zhuozi Mountain (Urendu Xiura) and Ordos City, Ertuoqqi as a neighbor, the West across the Yellow River and Wuda District; north to the four eye wells and HaiBoWan District is connected; south and Ningxia Shizuishan City, bordering. It is about 50 kilometers long from north to south and 20 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 1005 square kilometers. According to the seventh census data, as of zero hour on November 1, 2020, Hainan District resident population of 94,770 people. Hainan District has three towns and two street offices under its jurisdiction. In March 2020, Hainan District was selected as one of the top 100 counties and cities in 2020 China's Youth Lejia. The gross regional product of Hainan District in 2022 was 24.937 billion yuan.
