Kundulun District, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is the central city of Baotou, located in the central part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, southwestern Baotou, at the foot of the Yinshan Mountains, the north bank of the Yellow River, a temperate continental climate, adjacent to four districts (counties and flags), with a total area of 301 square kilometers. As of October 2021, Kundulun District has 13 streets and 2 towns under its jurisdiction, and another 1 township-level unit. According to the seventh national census data, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population was 787,681 people. Kundulun District is named after the Kundulun River ("Kundulun" is a Mongolian translation meaning "horizontal"). Xia Dynasty period, today's Kundulun District area has been the survival of the Tufang tribes to reproduce. Ming Zhengtong fourteen years (1449), "Tumubao change", after the nomadic land of the Mongolian Tumut Department. Qing Guangxu twenty-nine years (1903), belongs to the Ulat three flag. 1949, belongs to Baotou County. 1956 August 15, the establishment of Baotou Kundulun District. In July 2020, Kundulun District was selected as one of the "Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Model Cities (Flag Counties and Urban Areas) List".On July 15, 2021, Kundulun District was selected as one of the "Fourth Batch of Counties (Districts) Meeting the Standard of Water-Saving Social Construction". In 2021, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Kundulun District will be 100.286 billion yuan, an increase of 8.7%; the ratio of the added value of the first, second and third industries will be 0.3:44.7:55; the disposable income per capita of urban residents will increase by 8% year-on-year; and the general public budget revenue will be 3.071 billion yuan, an increase of 15.46%. In 2022, the GDP of Kundulun District is 111.62 billion yuan.
