Daban Township, belonging to Beipiao City, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the south of Beipiao City, bordering Shangyuan Township in the south, neighboring South Bazhijia Township and Liangshuihe Mongolian Township in the north and Changgao Township across the river in the east, with an area of 132.12 square kilometers, and a household population of 6,576 as of 2018. During the pseudo-Manchukuo period, Daban Village Commune was established.In 1956, Daban Township was set up.In 1961, Daban Commune was established.In 1983, it was changed to a township.In September 1986, it was changed to a town. As of June 2020, Daban Township has 6 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. In 2018, Daban Township had 4 industrial enterprises and 42 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
