Xiajizhen, Jiangsu Province, Yangzhou City, Baoying County under the jurisdiction of the town, is located in Baoying County, southeast, east of Xinghua City, Shagou Town, south of Gaoyou City, Jieshou Town, west of Jinhu County, Tangang Town, northwest of the junction with the town of Fanshui, northeast of the town of Liubao adjoining. The administrative area covers 125 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Xiaji Town had a household population of 52,826. In the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930), it was Xiaoling Township, belonging to the fifth district.In 1949, it was Xiaji Township, Xiaji District.In 1992, it was reorganized as Xiaji Town. As of June 2020, Xiazhi Township has 3 communities and 14 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. The township government is located in the north side of the east section of Guo Xia Road in Xiajizhi Township. In 2011, the total financial income of Xiazhi Town was 71.815 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 12.199 yuan.At the end of 2019, there were 597 industrial enterprises in Xiazhi Town, of which 24 were above the scale, and there were 30 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
