Liubao Town, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, Baoying County town under the jurisdiction of Baoying County, is located in the southeast of Baoying County, Xinghua City, east of Shagou town border, south and summer set of towns adjacent to the west with the town of Fan Shui bordering the north with Lujian, Xiaoguanzhuang 2 towns adjacent to the town. The administrative area covers 117.40 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Liubao Town has a household population of 51,723.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it first belonged to Dongsan Township, then to the Sixth District. After the thirty-second year of the Republic of China (1943), it was returned to Baoying County, and was divided into Xiaji District and Taolin District.In April 2000, Liubao Township was set up by merging Liubao Township with Lucun Township and Tingbai Township. As of June 2020, Liubao Town has 3 communities and 16 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. The people's government of the town is located at No.133, East Renmin Road.
In 2011, the total financial income of Liubao Township was RMB117 million, and the net income per capita of farmers was RMB12,469. At the end of 2019, Liubao Township had 475 industrial enterprises, of which 26 were above the scale, and there were 64 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
