Established in 1992, the Baoying Economic Development Zone is one of the first provincial-level development zones in Jiangsu Province. The zone has a total planned area of 58.2 square kilometers, of which 20 square kilometers are developed. It encompasses 10 administrative villages and 2 neighborhood committees, with a permanent population of nearly 50,000.It has been recognized with numerous honors, including being named one of China’s Top Ten Most Efficient Development Zones, China’s Most Dynamic Park for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, a Model Park for Continuous Optimization of the Business Environment, the Preferred Development Zone for Jiangsu and Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Investing in China, a National Automotive Parts Manufacturing Base, a Jiangsu Provincial Power Transmission and Transformation Equipment Manufacturing Base, a Pump, Valve, and Pipe Fittings Manufacturing Base, and a Specialized Wire and Cable Industry Base.
