Ruyi town, Jiangsu Province, Yangzhou City, Baoying County town under the jurisdiction of Baoying County, is located in the central part of Baoying County, east of Guangyanghu Town, south of Liubao, Xiaoguanzhuang 2 towns, the west and Wang Zhigang Town adjacent to the north and the junction of Sheyanghu Town. The administrative area covers 61.58 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Ruyan Town has a household population of 33,261.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Dongsan Township and Dongsixiang of Baoying County. In the thirteenth year of the Republic of China (1934), it belonged to the Fifth and Sixth Districts of Baoying County. 1983, it was reestablished as Ruyi Township. in December 1993, the township was abolished and reestablished as Ruyi Township. As of June 2020, there are 1 community and 12 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Luyan Town. The people's government of the town is located at No.27 Zhengtong Road.
