Jinghe Town, Jiangsu Province, Yangzhou City, Baoying County under the jurisdiction of the town, is located in the northern part of Baoying County, east of CaoDian, HuangCheng 2 towns neighboring, south of AnYi town border, west of Shanyang town, north of Huaian City, ChuZhou District, PingQiao, ShiHe 2 towns adjoining. The administrative area covers 84.12 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Jinghe Town had a household population of 54,735.
In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), Jinghe Township was set up as part of the Sixth District of Huai'an County.In 1983, it was changed to Jinghe Township and Huangpu Township.In January 2002, the townships were abolished and Jinghe Township was re-set up.
