Dangcheng Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Quyang County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Quyang County, 15 kilometers away from the county town, bordering with Lingshan Township in the east, Xiaotomb Township in the south, relying on Wangquan Reservoir in the west, and neighboring Beitai Township and Lingshan Township in the north. The jurisdiction has a maximum distance of 14 kilometers from east to west and 12 kilometers from north to south, with a total area of 57.23 square kilometers, including a water area of 17.6 square kilometers.At the end of 2018, Dangcheng Township had a total household population of 26,680.
In the Qing Guangxu edition of county records, Dangcheng was called "Dangcheng"; in January 1953, Dangcheng was established; in May 1961, Dangcheng People's Commune was established; in April 1984, Dangcheng was reorganized as Dangcheng. As of June 2020, Dangcheng Township has 14 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township people's government stationed in Qiguzhuang Village.
In 2013, the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in Dangcheng Township was 85.67 million yuan, the agricultural output value was 27.83 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 2,790 yuan.
