Beitai Township, Quyang County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is a mountainous township located in northwestern Quyang County, 35 kilometers south of the county, east of Langjiazhuang Township, southeast of Lingshan Township, south of Dangcheng Township, west of Pingyang Township in Fuping County, northwest of the Fuping County Taiyu Township, north of the Fanjiazhuang Township.The area of Beitai Township has a maximum distance of 9 kilometers from east to west, 13 kilometers from south to north. The jurisdiction has a maximum distance of 9 km from east to west and 13 km from north to south, with a total area of 62.21 square kilometers, including a water area of 1.12 square kilometers.At the end of 2018, Beitai Township had a total household population of 13,093.
Beitai Township is named after Beitai Village, where the township government was originally located.In 1958, it belonged to the Lingshan People's Commune.In 1961, it was analyzed and established as Beitai People's Commune.In 1984, it was reorganized as Beitai Township. As of June 2020, Beitai Township jurisdiction over 17 administrative villages, the township people's government stationed in Huanglingwa Village. There are Cangyu Expressway and G337 National Highway in the territory.
