Beishan Town, belonging to Fuding City, Ningde City, Fujian Province, China, is located in the southeastern sea area of Fuding City, close to Sansha Harbor, an open fishing port for trade with Taiwan, in the south, 3.56 nautical miles away from Sansha Ancient Town Harbor; in the west, it faces with the town of Taimushan across the sea, and in the north, it faces with Shacheng Harbor across the sea. The total land area is 26.83 square kilometers.At the end of 2018, Beishan Town had a household population of 5,097.
Beishan Township was named after the ancient mountainous terrain of Beishan in the shape of a pellet, "pellet" and "Beishan", later called Beishan, also known as Yaoshan.In October 1962, it was restored to the jurisdiction of Fuding County Qinyu District, and Beishan Commune was established.During August 1982, Beishan Commune was changed to a district. In November 1992, Beishan Town was established. As of June 2020, Beishan Town has 5 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
