Jieshi Township, belonging to Fuding City, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the northwestern part of Fuding, neighboring Tongshan Office in the southeast, bordering with Guanyang Township in the southwest, bordering with Yayang, Taishun County, Zhejiang Province in the northwest, and bordering with Guanling Township in the northeast, and the area is in the shape of a dumbbell. The total land area of the jurisdiction is 76.8 square kilometers.In 2017, the household population of Jieshi Township was 12,206.In 2018, the household population of Jieshi Township was 20,428. Jieshi Township is named after the richness of its ores.In 1971, it moved to Jieshi Village and was renamed Yushi Commune.In December 1982, it was restored as Jieshi Commune.In 1983, it was changed to Jieshi District.In 1987, it was renamed Jieshi Township.
