In the second year of Chang'an of the Tang Dynasty (702), it belonged to Houguan County and Wan'an County of Fuzhou. In the second year of Tang Yongtai (766), it belonged to Yongfu County and Fuqing County of Fuzhou. In the third year of Min Tiande (945), it belonged to Yongtaili, Yongfu County, Yongtai Town, Fuzhou and Xinningli, Changle West Township, Fuqing County. Song Taiping Xingguo five years (980), belonging to Xinghua Army Xinghua County Changle Township Yongtai Li, Fuqing County Changle West Township Xinning Li. Yidu town south of Putian City, Yidu has a long history and outstanding people. In the eighth year of Qian Dao of the Southern Song Dynasty, Huang Ding, a native of Longyu Village, Yongtai Li, Changle Township, Xinghua County, was the first scholar and the pride of Yidu people.
