Hanjiang District, attached to Putian City, Fujian Province, is located in the northeastern part of Putian City, the middle of the coast of Fujian Province, bordering Xinghua Bay, mountains and the sea, and Taiwan Province, separated by water, with a total area of 752 square kilometers. It is 13 kilometers from downtown Putian and 93 kilometers from Fuzhou, the provincial capital.
