Weimin Town, belonging to Shaowu City, Nanping City, Fujian Province, is located in the eastern part of Shaowu City, bordering with Dagan Town, Shunchang County in the east, Hongdun Town in the south, and Nakou Town in the northwest, with an administrative area of 111.61 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Weimin Township has a household population of 7,995. During the Song Dynasty, it belonged to Fuyang Township.In September 1984, Weimin Commune was abolished and Weimin Township was established instead, to which it belonged.In November 1995, Weimin Township was changed to Weimin Township.
