Dabugang Town, belonging to Shaowu City, Nanping City, Fujian Province, is located in the south of Shaowu City, neighboring Zhangcuo Township and Dazhu Township in the east, bordering Zhukou Township of Taining County and Dayuan Township of Jiangle County, Sanming City in the southwest, neighboring Heping Township in the northwest, and bordering Chengjiao Township in the north, with an area of 191.85 square kilometers of administrative area. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Dabugang Township was 15,837. During the Song Dynasty, it was part of Yongcheng Township.In August 1992, Dabugang Township was abolished and Dabugang Town was established.
