Zhuyang Town, belonging to Jiangjin District, Chongqing, is located in the western part of Jiangjin District, adjacent to Shimen Town and Yuxi Town in the east, facing Shidu Town in the south, bordering Songwu Town and Hezhi Town of Yongchuan District in the west, and connecting with Hezhi Town of Yongchuan District in the north, and is 56 kilometers away from the People's Government of Jiangjin District, with a total area of 58.02 square kilometers.
At the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, the territory of Zhuyang Town belonged to Sishanli of Jiangjin County; in September 1985, it was changed from Zhuyang Township to Zhuyang Town. As of the end of 2018, Zhuyang Town had a household population of 33,134. As of June 2020, Zhuyang Town has three communities and one administrative village under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Zhenxing Community.
