Guangning Street, belongs to Shijingshan District, Beijing. Located in the western part of Shijingshan District. East to Heitoushan, Modekou Xili, and Jindingjie Street, west to Mayu Manshuiqiao, Houzhuangzi, bordering Mentougou District. South to Yongding River, the south wall of Shijingshan Thermal Power Plant, adjacent to Fengtai District, north to Liulinzhuang, Fengsha Railway, the line of Mentougou Road, and Wulituo Street as neighbors, with a total area of 6.11 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Guangning Street under the jurisdiction of five communities, the street is located in the village of Guangning Xinli Street No. 4.
Guangning Street is named after the village of Guangning, which was established in 1954. 1958, the street was abolished. 1963, the street was established and renamed Guangning Village Street. 1969, the street was merged into Jinding Street. 1970, the street was restored to Guangning Village. 1978, the street was renamed Guangning Street.
