Longtan Street, Beijing Dongcheng District, under the jurisdiction of the street, is located in the southeast of Dongcheng District, between longitude 116 ° 25 ′ 00 ″ ~ 116 ° 26 ′ 22 ″, latitude 39 ° 52 ′ 14 ″ ~ 39 ° 53 ′ 33 ″. It is adjacent to Shuangjing Street, Jinsong Street, Panjiayuan Street and Shibaridian Township of Chaoyang District by the moat in the east, Fangzhuang Street of Fengtai District by the moat in the south, Tiantan Street by Xingfu Street and Beijing-Guangzhou Railway in the west, and Donghuashijie Street by Guangqumennei Street (East Section) in the north. The maximum distance between the east and west of the district is 1.1 kilometers, and the maximum distance between the north and south is 2.7 kilometers, with a total area of 3.1 square kilometers.
In 1947, Longtan was part of the 10th (outer third) district, and at the end of 1954, it was part of all of Banchangxinli Street and most of Huoshenmiao Street; in September 1958, it was merged into Longtan Street.
