Xiyi Township, belonging to Longyang District, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province, is located in the southeastern part of Longyang District, east and Changning County Kejie Township, Kas Township junction, south and Shidian County Laomai Township border . In the west, it is connected with Xinjie Township and Hanzhuang Township, and in the north, it is adjacent to Bima Township, with an administrative area of 199.19 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Xiyi Township is 55,045.
During the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Xinyi Township; in 1984, it was Xiyi District; in 1988, the district was changed to Xiyi Township. As of June 2020, Xiyi Township has 22 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township people's government stationed in Haiba Village.
