The Kinmen County Government is the administrative organ of Kinmen County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, under the jurisdiction of the Executive Yuan of the Taiwan authorities, and under the supervision of the Fujian Provincial Government, an organ dispatched by the Executive Yuan to govern Kinmen County, Fujian Province, which is located in the region of Taiwan-Pescadores-Jinma and is under the de facto control of the Taiwan authorities. Kinmen County Government was established in the fourth year of the Republic of China (1915), in October 1949 Da Deng Township was returned to mainland China, in June 1954 it began to administer Wuqiu Township, and in September 1965, after the adjustment of administrative divisions, it governed three townships and three townships. The garrison is located in Jinmen Township, Kinmen County, and was moved to Dadeng Island during the Anti-Japanese War from 1937 to 1945.
