Xiaodian Township, belonging to Ju County, Rizhao City, Shandong Province, is located in the southwestern part of Ju County, east of Zhailihe Township and Zhonglou Township, separated only by a mountain, south of Dadian Township, Junan County, bordering Xiazhuang Township on the west by the Mu River, north of Changling Township, with an area of 118.4 square kilometers, and a household population of 56,573 in 2018.
At the time of the Zhou, the territory belonged to the state of Ju. in March 1958, it was renamed Xiaodian Township. in June 1984, it was changed to Xiaodian Township, and 34 villages were analyzed in the western part of the territory to set up Jindun Township. on April 14, 1993, the township was withdrawn to establish a township, and Jindun Township was merged into it, calling it Xiaodian Township. As of June 2020, Xiaodian Township has nine communities under its jurisdiction.
In 2018, Xiaodian Town has 35 industrial enterprises, including 4 above scale, and 19 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
