Xiaomeng Town, belonging to Yanzhou District, Jining City, Shandong Province, is located in the northwestern part of Yanzhou City, neighboring Caohe Town in the east, Xinyi Town in the south, Wenshang County in the west, and Ningyang County in Tai'an City in the north; the town's people's government is 25 km away from the urban area of Yanzhou City, and has a total area of 54.21 square kilometers.
During the Qing Dynasty, the territory of Xiaomeng Town belonged to the temple community of Beidaxiang Township; in September 2002, the township was abolished and reorganized as Xiaomeng Town; as of the end of 2018, Xiaomeng Town had a household population of 41,146; as of June 2020, Xiaomeng Town was under the jurisdiction of 42 administrative villages; the township people's government was stationed in Xiaomeng Village.
In 2011, the total financial income of Xiaomeng Town was 32.46 million yuan, an increase of 21% over the previous year, of which the local financial income was 20.52 million yuan, an increase of 58% over the previous year; in terms of the main taxes, the business tax was completed at 7.79 million yuan, the value-added tax was 9.41 million yuan, and the enterprise income tax was 4.16 million yuan; in 2018, Xiaomeng Town had 59 industrial enterprises, 24 enterprises above the scale, and there were business areas of more than 50 square meters or more, and 38 comprehensive stores or supermarkets.
