Xinyi Town belongs to Yanzhou District, Jining City, Shandong Province, and is located in the northwest of Yanzhou District, Jining City, between longitude 116°37′44.25″-116°42′11.53″ East and latitude 35°28′49.39″-35°37′8.03″ North. The town has a total area of 66.82 square kilometers, governing 57 administrative villages with 45,983 people (2017). Xinyi Town belongs to the semi-humid warm-temperate climate zone, with an average temperature of 13.6℃, 19℃ in spring, 22℃ in summer, 20.5℃ in fall and -0.3℃ in winter. In 2014, the town completed local financial revenue of 112 million yuan, an increase of 30%, exceeding the 100 million yuan mark for the first time; its Chinese and local taxes completed local revenue of 43.98 million yuan, an increase of 25.1%, more than 30 million yuan more than when it exceeded 10 million yuan in 2009; the per capita net income of farmers reached 15,753 yuan, an increase of 12.6%.
