Caohe Town, belonging to Yanzhou District, Jining City, Shandong Province, is located in the north of Yanzhou District, bordering Da'an Town in the east and south, Xiaomeng Town in the west across the Guanghe River, and Sidian Town in Ningyang County, Tai'an City in the north, with the People's Government of Caohe Town 15 km south of Yanzhou District's center, with a total area of 47.64 square kilometers. At the beginning of 1972, the territory of Caohe Town was formed into Caohe Commune by 3 administrative districts of Henan, Xiemating and Caohe in Da'an Commune and 2 administrative districts of Caiqiao and Caozhuang in Gucun Commune; in December, 1999, the township was withdrawn and set up as Caohe Town; as of the end of 2018, Caohe Town has a household population of 33,174; as of June, 2020, Caohe Town is governed by 31 administrative villages; the township people's government is stationed in Caohe Village. In 2011, the total financial income of Caohe Town was 25.61 million yuan, an increase of 8.3% compared with the previous year, of which the local financial income was 1.93 million yuan, an increase of 2.2% compared with the previous year; in terms of the major taxes, the business tax was completed at 6.99 million yuan, the value-added tax was 17.93 million yuan, and the enterprise income tax was 2.69 million yuan; in 2018, Caohe Town had 42 industrial enterprises, 24 enterprises above the scale, and there were business areas of more than 50 square meters or more, and 57 general stores or supermarkets.
