Yufeng Town, part of Daying County, Suining City, Sichuan Province, is located in the western part of Daying County, bordered by Penglai Town to the east, Zhishui to the south, Cangshan Town, Zhongjiang County, Deyang City, to the west, and Xiangshan Town to the north. The area is 81.9 square kilometers, with a household population of 55,532 as of the end of 2019. In the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, Yufeng Field was set up. In the Republic of China, the field was changed to a joint insurance, and then to a township office.In 1951, Yufeng Township was set up.In 1981, the township was changed to a district.In September 1992, the district was changed to a town.In August 2019, Wufang Township and Zhishui Township were abolished, and the administrative areas they belonged to were transferred to the jurisdiction of Yufeng Township. As of June 2020, Yufeng Township has 1 community and 21 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. In 2019, Yufeng Township has 15 industrial enterprises, including 1 above scale, and 31 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
