Longsheng Township, belonging to Daying County, Suining City, Sichuan Province, is located in the eastern part of Daying County, bordering Hui Ma Township in the east, Gui Hua Township in Funshan District in the south, Jinyuan Township in the west, and Shehong Xingxing Township in the north. The area is 109.05 square kilometers, and as of the end of 2021, the household population was 77,570. Longsheng Field was set up in Qing Dynasty.In July 1951, Longsheng Township was set up.In July 1985, the township was changed to a town.In August 2019, Shimen Township and Democracy Township were abolished, and the administrative areas belonging to them were transferred to the jurisdiction of Longsheng Town. As of June 2020, Longsheng Township has 2 communities and 30 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. In 2021, Longsheng Town has 5 industrial enterprises, including 3 above scale, and 62 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
