Xiaoba town (has been abolished), belonging to Anzhou District, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, is located in the northwest of Anzhou District, Longmen Mountain Range in the middle, east of Sangzhao Town, south of the town of boiling water, west of Gaochuan Township, north of the town of Qianfo. It is 34 kilometers away from the county town of Anzhou District, with a total area of 56 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Xiaoba Township had a household population of 9,108. In 1942, it was transferred to Anzhou District and renamed Xiaoba Township.In 1960, it was analyzed and established Xiaoba Commune.In 1983, the commune was changed to a township.In 2001, the township was changed to a town. As of October 2019, Xiaoba Township has 1 community and 7 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township people's government stationed in the middle section of Tieling Street in the center village.In December 2019, the People's Government of Sichuan Province agreed that Mianyang City would abolish Xiaoba Township and transfer its administrative area to the jurisdiction of Sangzao Township. As of the end of 2019, Xiaoba Town had 25 general stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
