Dingwen Township, belonging to Gandan County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province, is located on the Gandanluo Highway line 15.8 km northeast of the county town, bordering (former) Xinsheng Township to the east, Maisumu Township (now Maisumu Township) and (former) Fulong Township to the south, Jinsu Township of Wutongqiao District to the west, and (former) Shoubao Township and Luocheng Township to the north.In 2017, the region covered an area of 45.25 square kilometers, with a permanent resident population of 12,467 people. As of 2019, Dingwen Township has 1 community and 16 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
