Pingqiao Township (revoked), formerly under Jintang County, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, is located in the southern part of Jintang County, connected with Longsheng Township and Penny Township in the east, neighboring Xinxing and Tonghe Townships of Janyang City in the south, bordering Baiguo Township in the west, and adjoining Gaoban Township in the north. The township people's government is located 46 kilometers away from Zhao Town, the county town. The total area is 50.11 square kilometers.
In the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, Ping'anqiao Field was set up.In October 1992, Yuhe Township was merged into Pingqiao Township. As of October 2019, Pingqiao Township has 2 communities and 9 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township people's government stationed at Ping'anqiao Community Ping'an Field.On December 23, 2019, Pingqiao Township and Gaoban Township were abolished and Gaoban Street was set up, with the administrative area belonging to the former Pingqiao Township and the former Gaoban Township as the administrative area of Gaoban Street, with the Gaoban Street Office stationed at No. 42, Commercial Street, Xingqiao Community.
