The Huazhou New Town Smart Manufacturing Industrial Park is located in Huazhou New Town, Jintang County. As a provincial-level development zone, it is approximately 50 kilometers from downtown Chengdu, a 45-minute drive from Shuangliu Airport, and a 30-minute drive from Tianfu International Airport. Guided by the principle of “integrated industry and urban development, suitable for both living and working,” the park uses the 10.7-square-kilometer Jintang Industrial Concentration Zone as its initial development area, leveraging the urban functions of Huikou Town. The near-term planned area is 77.7 square kilometers, with a long-term target of 154 square kilometers. Infrastructure such as energy, water supply, and drainage is well-developed. Supporting projects for living and production-oriented services, including Bade Town and Kema Town, have already been put into use. Additionally, the second site for the International Railway Port has been planned based on the existing Huikou Railway Station. The park has been successively recognized as one of the “Top 20 Industrial Parks with the Highest Investment Value in Sichuan” and a National Demonstration Base for New Industrialization (Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection). By 2022, the park will add 43 square kilometers of new development area (27 square kilometers from 2017 to 2020, and 16 square kilometers from 2021 to 2022), achieving total main business revenue of over 100 billion yuan across all industries.
