Xujia Town (withdrawn), belonging to Dujiangyan City of Sichuan Province, is located in the east of Dujiangyan City, neighboring Guihua Town of Pengzhou City in the east, Tianma Town and Juyuan Town in the south, bordering Dujiangyan City and Happiness Town in the west, and Puyang Town in the north. The town people's government is located 4 kilometers away from Dujiangyan city. The total area is 39.08 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Xujia Town had a household population of 36,550. In 1941, the two bailiwicks south of the Driving Rainbow Bridge were analyzed and set up as Driving Rainbow Township, and Xujia Township was renamed Xujia Township.In August 2001, Xujia Township was reorganized as a town.In September 2004, Driving Rainbow Township was merged into Xujia Township. As of October 2019, Xujia Township has 1 community and 14 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township's people's government stationed at Xujiachangzhen.On December 23, 2019, Xujia Township was abolished and the administrative area under it was transferred to the jurisdiction of Tianma Township, with the Tianma Township's people's government stationed at No. 375, Chebi Road.
