Puyang Town (withdrawn), a town under the jurisdiction of Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province, is located in the eastern part of Dujiangyan City, bordering Guihua Town of Pengzhou City in the east, Xujia Town in the south, Gunkou Town in the west, Ziping Town and Hongkou Township in the northwest, and Xiang'e Township in the northeast. The town people's government is located 6 kilometers away from Dujiangyan city. The total area is 58.05 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Puyang Township had a household population of 37,811.
In the nineteenth year of the Republic of China (1930), it belonged to the second district. In the twenty-ninth year of the Republic of China (1940), it was changed to Puyang Township.In September 2004, Jinfeng Township was incorporated. As of October 2019, Puyang Township has 2 communities and 14 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township people's government stationed at No. 319, Yang Street, Puyang Township Field Township.On December 23, 2019, Xiang'e Township and Puyang Township were abolished and Puyang Street was established, with the administrative area belonging to the former Xiang'e Township and the former Puyang Township as the administrative area of Puyang Street.
