Deyang City, also known as Jingcheng, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, located in the northeastern part of the Chengdu Plain, in the transition zone from the Longmen Mountains to the Sichuan Basin; it has a mountainous vertical climate in the northwest and a subtropical humid monsoon climate in the southeast; it has a total area of 5,911 square kilometers.
