Zalut Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Tongliao City, jurisdiction of the flag, is located in the eastern part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Tongliao City, northwestern, located in the southern section of the Daxing'anling Mountains, horqin grassland hinterland, belongs to the Inner Mongolia Plateau to the Songliao Plain transition zone, belongs to the mesothermal continental monsoon climate, adjacent to the seven banners (counties, cities), with a total area of 17,500 square kilometers. "Zarut" is a Mongolian word meaning service, service, service. Qing Shunzhi five years (1648), the Qing court posthumously appointed Neiqi for DuoLuo Baylor, and by Neiqi's son SangJiaBu inherited his father's title of DuoLuo Baylor, Zarut Banner Zazhak's position, hereditary, marking the birth of the Zarut Banner; in April 1954, belonging to the people's government of the Zherim League; in July 1969, with the Zherim League transferred to the province of Jilin; in July 1979, with the Zherim League back to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region; February 1999, with the Zherim League transfer to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region; in February 1999, the abolition of the Zherimu League to set up prefecture-level Tongliao City, Zalut Banner by the jurisdiction of Tongliao City.
The main attractions of Zalut Banner include Wugang Mountain Tourist Area, Tejinhanshan Nature Reserve, Hanshan Spring, and Yuquanshan Eco-tourism Area. on November 25, 2020, Zalut Banner was selected as one of the "third batch of counties (districts) of water-saving society construction standard". on June 21, 2021, Zalut Banner was selected as one of the "National Farmers Cooperative Quality Improvement Countywide Promotion Counties (Districts)".
