Xinlin Town, belonging to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Chifeng City, Linxi County, is located in the north of Linxi County, east and fifty family sub-town adjacent to the town, south and Guandi town adjacent to the town, the west and the town of the unified part of the border with the north and the Xilin Gol League West Urumqiqin Banner Dazheng pasture border. The area covers 516 square kilometers. As of the end of 2018, the household population was 20,830. In February 1956, the district was abolished and a township was established.In December 1958, it was changed to Xinlin Township Commune.In February 1984, it was changed to Xinlin Township, and Felt Shop Township was divided from the former Xinlin Township Commune. As of June 2020, Xinlin Township has 11 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. As of the end of 2018, Xinlin Town has 12 industrial enterprises and 6 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
