Daxanan Town, belonging to Liaoning Province, Liaoyang City, Dengta, is located in the northern part of Dengta City, east and southeast of Wazi Town, south of Wanbaoqiao Street, southwest of Gucheng Street, west of the North Shaxi River and Liujiaozhai Town adjacent to the north and northwest of the Ten Mile River and the Shilihe Town of Shenyang City, Sujiatun District, northeast of Shenyang City, Sujiatun District, Dagou Township, the administrative region covers an area of 58.11 square kilometers. During the Warring States period, it belonged to Liaodong County of Yan; in 1981, Daxanan Commune was established; in 1996, Daxanan Township was abolished and established as a township, belonging to Dengta City. As of the end of 2018, Daxanan Township had a household population of 19,862. As of June 2020, there are 13 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Daxanan Town. In 2011, the total financial income of Daxanan Township was 18.27 million yuan, an increase of 30.1% over the previous year.
