Xiahe Township, belonging to Fushun County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southeastern part of Fushun County, adjoining with Salvation Township in the southeast, bordering with Yuanling Township, Benxi Manchu Autonomous County, Benxi City in the south, and neighboring with Shiwen Township in the west and north. The area under its jurisdiction is 125.8 square kilometers. As of the end of 2018, Xiahe Township had a household population of 8,784. In October 1956, the Xiahe area was transferred to Benxi County.In October 1957, it was transferred back to Fushun City.In October 1958, Hongwei Commune was established in Funnan District, to which this territory belonged, and then merged into the Savings Commune.In April 1962, it was separated from the Savings Commune, and the Xiahe Commune was established.In September 1983, the Xiahe Commune was changed to Xiahe Township. As of June 2020, Xiahe Township has 10 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Xiahe Village. In 2018, Xiahe Township has 1 industrial enterprise and 16 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
