Longcheng District, belongs to Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. Located between 120°14′ to 120°37′ east longitude and 41°26′ to 41°42′ north latitude, it is situated in the western part of Liaoning Province, with the district surrounding Shuangta District, bordering Chaoyang County in the northwest and southwest, and adjoining Beipiao City in the northeast. As of 2019, Longcheng District has 3 streets and 6 towns, 63 administrative villages and 14 communities with a total area of 704.2 square kilometers, and in 2022, Longcheng District had a resident population of 220,900. The main scenic spots in Longcheng District include Chaoyang Bird Fossil National Geopark, Dapingfang Three Pagodas, Guangfa Temple, Wangba Gaizi Ruins, Yongchang Desheng Temple and so on.
