Xushe Town, belonging to Yixing City, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the western part of Yixing City, adjacent to Xinjie Street in the east, bordering Zhangzhu Town and Xizhu Town in the south, Liyang City in the west, and Yangxiang Town, Guanlin Town and Gaocheng Town in the north, with the people's government of the town 16 kilometers away from the people's government of Yixing City, with an area of 179.91 square kilometers, and a household population of 98,895 as of the end of 2019. In the ninth year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1883), Xushe Town was set up, belonging to Jingxi County; in April 2007, Fangzhuang Town and Jutang Town were merged into Xushe Town. As of June 2020, Xushe Town has 2 communities and 23 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the town's people's government stationed at No. 118 Hongxin Road in Democracy Community. As of the end of 2019, there are 669 industrial enterprises in Xushe Town, of which 64 are above scale, and there are 31 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
